Happy Halloween!

Well I don't know about you but I LOVED the weather this weekend! I think this was the warmest Halloween I've ever had! It does make me think more about global warming though! Anyway, I hope everyone had a great Halloween! We did!

Devin and I started the evening out by going "Trick or Treating" to his Grandparents and we took his mom's dogs with us for a short walk. They thought my face was cute and his Grandpa made some comment like "Why don't you always make your face that pretty?" haha

Devin, Darinda, and I sat with the door open ready for trick or treaters since the weather was so nice... but sadly we only had a few kiddos! M was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and D, her brother, was a Dallas Football player. They were so cute! M agreed to "model" for me soon so I'm looking forward to that! Darinda's dogs get pretty noisy when anyone rings the doorbell or comes to the door so we had them closed in with the french doors, M & D couldn't pass up a peek of them and I, of course, couldn't pass up this picture! haha

My favorite (I'm a little biased) was my little Clay! For my family/friends who don't know...Daniel is Devin's all time best buddy. (sorry if that sounds corny haha) They have grown up with each other for a long time and have become practically brothers. So it's only fit that Clay is like Devin's nephew and mine...since I'm part of the family too! :) haha Now...on with the pictures!

Clay found Devin's ukulele and started playing with it like it was a guitar. He was too cute! He even knew to move the fingers on both hands! I'd say he has been watching someone play ;)

The first time I asked him what he was going to be he said "Blue race car driver" then it changed to "Blue power ranger" and also "Spiderman". He has the last two costumes but he decided to go with the blue power ranger this night! haha

The boy loves his cars!

And he loves kisses from Aunt Brannie! Okay, not really..I think I got lucky with this picture haha!

Well I need to get to bed! I haven't been feeling well and I don't know if it's allergies or a cold this time but I HAD to get this post done so I hope you enjoy it! Goodbye October!

Love and hugs,

Brandi

Meet Miss G... or G*Unit as I call her! She's another one of my frequent "models" and she is pretty patient with me! She secretly likes for me to take her picture but during the session she puts up a shy act. Her mother said that after they left G told her "I want to go to the playground with Brandi." That is where we took pictures last time haha. She usually does her own poses without any promting but today was a more shy day. I still think it turned out well!

These first few pics are taken at the Vintage Pizzazz Antique store on Broadway. They also have a pumpkin patch but it was closed when we got there so we hung out around the store. The first one is my absolute FAVE!

Then we headed off to that same location on Commerce for some more pictures!

I used a lomo effect on this picture and it makes me think of the pictures I have from when I was little (1980's)

It's getting late again! It's officially Halloween too! I always try and make plans for a fun Halloween (trying to make up for all my childhood years when we didn't so much I guess) but the plans never work out. Mainly because I try to involve other people who have had their fill of Halloweens I guess! haha G*Unit's mom and I are planing on dressing up at least! They have a contest at work so that makes it fun, plus I like to make the patients laugh. Well I'm out for tonight! Be safe tomorrow!

Little Pumpkins

These little pumpkins are the best in the whole batch! haha My friend Missena, invited me to the First Baptist Church's Trunk or Treat and we decided to stop for this photo op along the way! Okay, actually we had driven by this way cute yard earlier during the day and thought it would be fun! This is the same "pumpkin patch" that was in my last post. The house is located on Commerce and the owners happily gave us permission to take advantage of their decorations!

Here the Hayes girls are checking out the stock

R likes to play shy especially when it comes to me and the camera. These two little girls have been my "models" several times since I have purchased my Canon Digital Rebel so you think she would be used to it by now! haha Oh well, it makes for good practice!

M is opposite though. I think she has always been pretty cooperative with me. She's a cutie and a Mama's girl!!

I love this photo! It is actually a little out of focus, I was afraid I would miss the shot and so I took it before I checked my settings. But that's what the practice is for! I am also learning some new editing techniques on photoshop which I love as well! I added an antique look on most of these because it looks great with the fall colors!

Well it's time for bed again! Man the time flies! At least tomorrow is Thursday, the week is almost over! Yeah for weekends with my Devin! I think this will be our first Halloween to be together on in like 5 years or so! haha

Love and hugs, Brandi

P.S. I'm still trying to figure out the formatting on this whole blog thing and it doesn't always seem to do what I say so bear with me! :)

"It's fall ya'll"

Okay I know that was corny but according to the news...fall has arrived! I always say that spring is my favorite season but I find myself enjoying them all. I love something about every season actually! So here is my list of things I love about the fall:

*Crisp Air

*Beginning of holiday decorating!

*Carving pumpkins

*Looking at all the Halloween costumes and wishing they had those when I was a little girl haha

*The leaves changing colors

*The leaves falling from the trees and letting sunlight peek through when I'm driving down a tree lined road (this can be seen when driving around OU campus and it's so pretty to me!)

*HIGH HEEL BOOTS!

*Pretty jackets...I have already purchased 2 new coats this fall haha

*Hot chocolate and cappuccino

*How every store you go in smells yummy with all the fall scents!

*My automatic start on my car haha

*Snuggling closer to my Devin

*Fishing

So my list really could go on and on but I have already stayed up late messing with some of my photos so I'm going to bed! Happy fall to all my loved ones!
